“Be humble but brave, enthusiastic and open-minded. Keep learning. Have faith in yourself.” - Colleen McCarthy Evans
How do you walk away after years of accolades, awards, and sizeable profits? Colleen McCarthy Evans, toy maven and co-creator of over 20 board and card games, had to ask herself this tough question and more. But let’s back up.

An adult education class on Game Design inspired the former improv actor to take a “leap of faith” into the game/toy business. Colleen and a fellow classmate formed a company and the partnership proved to be a lucky charm: one of their first games, ‘In a Pickle,’ went on to sell over a million games!

Recently, Colleen and her partner found themselves at a crossroads. “Ultimately, we felt that by trying to keep the partnership together, we were holding each other back,” Colleen said. Time for another leap of faith!
