Inspiration in Life and Death: Julie Main

Julie.jpg

Gutsy Gals persevere through obstacles. They solve problems by finding a new way. Julie Main did just that when she was diagnosed with breast cancer at the heartbreakingly young age of 36.

As the owner of West Coast Athletic Clubs, Main took her diagnosis in stride and created a cancer-treatment plan that holistically combined traditional chemotherapy treatments, with a fitness and nutrition regime. Her doctors were so impressed that they asked her to teach others. Thus, the Julie Main Cancer WellFit program was born.

For over twenty years, Julie dedicated her life to improving the lives of cancer patients. Sadly, Main recently lost her life to the disease at age 53. While she is no longer with us, Julie is the Gutsiest of Gals in every sense. Her work will continue to inspire others for generations to come.
