Merryl Brown Events is redefining what it means to be green.
At her event planning company, Merryl is on a mission to marry sustainability with style. “Think Emily Post meets the Grateful Dead,” Merryl says. With an emphasis on locally grown food, re-usable and recyclable décor, and responsible waste management, Merryl plans parties with a conscious.
Though Merryl previously worked in banking, she had an interest in gardening and biodynamic farming. By educating herself and working alongside pioneers in the field, Merryl became a Master Gardener and turned her hobby into a career.
“You’re never too old to start a business”, this Gutsy Gals says. Merryl Brown Events was just launched recently and already people are taking notice.
