Jacqueline Grace, President of LifeTime Media, a reputable New York City book packager and literary agency, sits in her office discussing her five year old daughter during an interview about her career in the publishing business. After learning about book publishing at Simon and Schuster, Jacqueline worked in marketing for the women’s magazine division of the New York Times, and then formed her own book production and publishing house in 1993. Dedicated to “creating books that help people through various times and events in their lives,” her company has packaged and published how tos on everything from weddings to asthma. Their newest publication, She’s Out There, is required reading for any gutsy gal looking for a little inspiration.
The book features essays from 35 young women who want to be the President of the United States when they grow up. Full of insight from the next generation of women leaders, the book forces us to re-examine our own goals and strive for better things. Jacqueline is proud of this book both as a publisher and mother.
